Chaos Theory and Innovation

We are inspired by the principles of chaos theory, which is about the underlying order in random data. One aspect of chaos theory is self-similarity, as illustrated in the Koch Curve. When viewed closely, you see that the 'curves' in the bottom image are actually triangles, continuously added to the sides of existing ones. The Koch Curve is a very simple way to show what's happening in more elaborate fractals, like the one shown on the right.

We share this as a way to demonstrate the value in looking beyond the obvious in order to discover something completely new and different.
